Author Keith Gray visits PHS!

Keith Gray was brought up in Grimsby and as a child tried to avoid books. He was an eager rebel and a particularly enthusiastic pain-in-the-backside.......and now he's an author!

As part of World Book Day celebrations, Keith Gray visited the school's library to meet S2 pupils yesterday morning. Pupils enjoyed him talking about his life experiences (some of them funny and squeamish!) and how he became a writer.

Here are some interesting and bizarre facts about Keith Gray:

Keith had ambitions to be an actor and a rock star!

He was 24 when his first book published.

One of his books - Creepers - was dedicated to his pet hamster Jack!

He loves backpacking.

His favourite fantasy is to time travel.
