Horticulture Apprenticeship

The Council has now launched the new Modern Apprenticeship at Level 2 in Horticulture as a dedicated traineeship.

This Vocational Qualification is offered as a traineeship in the council's Environment Service. It combines both practical skills under employed conditions and theory delivered through Perth College.

It is an excellent opportunity for job ready young people to build references while gaining working skills and recognised qualifications. It includes not only an industry approved VQ but also a number of legislative or nationally recognised certificates, i.e. Pesticides certification
