Trip to RSPB Loch Leven
On Thursday 19th April, a group of S5/6 pupils from the Higher Managing Environmental Resources course visited the RSPB Loch Leven nature reserve to learn about how the area is being managed.
The group learned about land and wildlife management strategies, and land use conflicts in the area. It was a chance to apply the theory from class to ‘the real world’, and collect information about a case study area that may be asked about in their SQA exam next month. The group were a credit to Perth High School, and Judy and her team at RSPB Loch Leven praised their enthusiasm. Good luck for the exam, Team MER!
