The Concourse Improvements

By Duncan on 4/9/2004

Pupils are greeted by improvements to the concourse on returning to school after the summer break.

When pupils returned to the school after the summer break on the 17th of August, they were greeted by welcome improvements to the concourse and area outside the main entrance.

As part of the multi-million pound improvement schemes throughout the school, many of the concourses seating areas were upgraded and much sought after lockers were installed for use by the junior years.

New doors have been installed in the length of the concourse to help separate the areas designated for junior and senior pupils.

Meanwhile on the outside of the building new concrete steps have been placed awaiting further improvements to the open section of the school under the building.

By the time pupils arrive back from the spring break of 2005 work will have been completed on enclosing this area, vastly extending the concourse, giving pupils much greater room and increasing the number of lockers.
