Election Fever

1P10 Elects Pupil Council Representatives.

Emma Mathieson reports.

On Wednesday 24th September, 1P10 had an election to see who was going to be their Pupil Council Reps. Rachel, Emma, Shawnee and Laura stood as candidates, but sadly only two could be elected.

To decide who was going to get it, everyone in the class voted for two people and the two people with the highest votes got in.

On Thursday Mr. Mackie revealed who won the election. It was a very close vote as there was only one vote separating 2nd and 3rd place!

The winners were Emma and Shawnee.

Emma said "Shawnee and I would like to say well done to Laura and Rachel as we know they would have done a good job. Anyhow, Shawnee and I are going to do our best to represent our class as best we can and we would like to say a big thank you to our class 1P10 for voting for us".
