Three pupils from Perth High School are planning to do their Silver expedition on horseback this summer, but they need a fourth member to make up the team.

You and your horse will need to be experienced and fit enough to ride for up to 6 hours each day through a range of terrain up to 600m. The route includes steep, remote tracks, some cross country and small sections of rural A road.

There will be no stabling while on expedition, as you will be camping wild. You’ll need all your own riding equipment including saddle bags and a helmet. Perth HS can provide any camping equipment needed.

The group will be meeting up for, probably 3, training days near Forgandenny (S of Perth). Their 3 days practice expedition and qualifying expedition will take place in June. (Subject to approval)
